On June 29, 2018, narcotics investigators were notified of a suspicious parcel at United Postal Services. Detectives arrived and spoke with the manager who advised that the package came from a box store in a source state. Detectives lined up the parcel along with numerous other parcels. I deployed K9 Doc who gave a positive indication for narcotics on the parcel. DEA detectives took possession of the parcel and a search warrant was obtained for the parcel. During the search of the parcel, 2 pounds of crystal methamphetamine was located inside the parcel. The investigation led to the arrest of 4 individuals that day for dealing methamphetamine. The investigation is still on going at this time.
