On 06/15/2019 at about 04:49 hours an attempt to locate came out in reference to an armed robbery that occurred at a hotel. Officers were able to locate the vehicle described in the ATL and make a traffic stop. The driver and the passenger admitted to being present during the armed robbery. While officers were determining their involvement in the robbery, I deployed my K9 partner, Raji, for a free air sniff around the vehicle. Raji alerted at the back seam of the driver’s door of the vehicle. During the search incident to the alert officers located a bag behind the driver’s seat that contained 35.8g of methamphetamine. Also located in the vehicle were digital scales, paraphernalia, and Ziploc baggies. Both occupants were jailed.
